Samsung Galaxy A51 review.

Samsung GalaxyA review.   When you think about Samsung phones, you probably think about Galaxy S20, or maybe you think of the Note line, if you like styluses. Those are Samsung's Halo phones, but they're not actually the Samsung phones that most people buy. You see the top two selling Android phones worldwide last year, were not Samsung's S phones or Notes or Huawei or anything else. They were Galaxy A series phones. That is what people buy, and now Samsung's making a big push to get customers in on buying those kinds of phones with this thing right here, the Galaxy A51.  Every phone has compromises, and 400 dollar or 28K phones have more compromises than most. You have to pick what you care about, so just for an example of those trade-offs, here is the iPhone SE from Apple, and Apple picked caring about the processor and the camera, instead of caring about having a big screen and getting rid of these big dopey bezels. So, what are Samsung's priorities for the Galax...

Why Chinese Smartphones companies were able to take over Indian Market

How Chinese Companies were able to tale over Indian Market  If you are a phone geek like me, you must have noticed it already. India gets many of the coolest phones these days. Just to name a few, Xiaomi and OPPO have both built whole new brands for India with Poco and Realme and Samsung made their super aggressively priced new M series phones here. And not only do these India-first offerings put the devices we in the West have to shame in terms of price/performance ratios, increasingly, they are also made in India. So, let's explore why the Indian Smartphone industry has become so competitive and if the country can take this recent smartphone boom to the next level and become a true smartphone superpower. India actually already had a brief moment with home-grown smartphone brands a few years ago. Back in 2014, over 2/3rds of the phones in the country where sold by Indian brands like Micromax, Karbonn, Intex and Lava, and that same year, Micromax actually managed to outsell Samsu...

The SONY XPERIA 1 ii is Different...

The SONY XPERIA 1 ii is Different... What's up guys, and we've finally got Sony Xperia 1 ii, Xperia one mark two. Just last year, I was praising Sony for going for a more simpler naming convention with the Xperia 1 and they've just gone ahead and made everything confusing again it looks like they're adopting their camera naming convention and having a mark two upgrade, but anyway, Xperia 1 ii. Let's go ahead, check it outsee what it's got to offer. Design The usual branding here at the front at the back, we have some of the key features. Now Sony is going against the convention, so they're not doing what everybody else is doing and they've kind of gone for a bit more of a unique approach, and we'll have to see if that's paid off. So inside the box, as well as the device, you get some people work, you get a USB type C to USB type C cable. There's an 18 Watt fast charger which is fast, but nowhere near as fast as a lot of the competition wh...

iOS 14 - What's New is here

iOS 14 Major Features and What's New   So iOS 14 is here. Well, it'll be here this fall, but it's announced and developers can try it right now plus there's going to be a public beta in July. So when you do get to install it, your iPhone is going to look totally the same and it's gotta look the same 'cause Apple's not gonna move your stuff around on your home screen. But Apple is finally changing what you can do on your home screen. Is it a little bit more like Android or Windows Phone? Yes, there are widgets that you can put right in your home screen and there is this app drawer. They call it an app library thing but it's also different. And you know what, you know me, anytime I see a big user interface change, I need to talk about it so here's the question, why did Apple finally let the iPhone home screen get a little complicated. Widgets Alright, so obviously the big headline news is widgets. You can put them wherever you want on any home sc...
